Air Conditioning in Reigate School

Air Conditioning Installation

Overview

We recently completed the installation of air conditioning in Reigate School, Brooklands, enhancing the learning environment and commitment to supporting educational institutions.

Work Produced

We installed Daikin ceiling-mounted cassette A/C systems in two classrooms, specifically chosen due to the solid ceiling structure and the visually appealing exterior. Prior to undertaking this project, ensuring our team’s DBS checks were up to date was paramount. Given the school’s focus on catering to children with special educational needs, we strategically scheduled the installation during the half-term break to minimise disruption to classes and reduce distress for the pupils. This approach reflects our commitment to providing optimal comfort while prioritising the well-being of both students and staff.

Results

The new systems now not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also ensure optimal comfort for students and staff.

The Importance of Air Conditioning in a SEND* School

*SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
At AAC Southern, we understand the crucial role that air conditioning plays in creating a conducive learning environment, particularly in special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) schools. Maintaining optimal temperatures ensures that students can focus on their studies without distraction, as overheating or discomfort can heighten sensory sensitivities or concentration challenges. Furthermore, our efficient air conditioning solutions promote better air quality, crucial for those with respiratory conditions or allergies. By prioritising climate control, we are able to help SEND schools create spaces where every student can thrive, learn, and reach their full potential.
